Charlotte Markey Ph.D.

Charlotte Markey, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology and director of the health sciences program at Rutgers University, where she teaches a course on The Psychology of Eating. She has researched eating behaviors, body image, weight management and obesity risk for 20 years. Her book, Smart People Don’t Diet: How the Latest Science Can Help You Lose Weight Permanently, was called "possibly the best book on weight loss ever written” by Scientific American.
